Information You Enter

Medicine Cabinet may store medication names, dosage information, schedules, reminder preferences, inventory quantities, refill settings, and medication history that you choose to enter or approve.

Prescription Label Scanning

The prescription scanner is designed to process label text on your device. It is intended to extract medication-related information needed for reminders and inventory. Source images and raw label text are not retained after processing.

The scanner is designed to avoid processing or storing patient names, addresses, phone numbers, pharmacy contact details, prescriber names, insurance information, and similar personal or administrative information.

Local Storage

Medication information is stored locally on your device unless a future version clearly introduces an optional sync feature. User-approved medication-name corrections may be stored locally to improve future scans.

Notifications and Widgets

Medicine Cabinet uses local notifications and widgets to display reminder information that you configure. Notification content may be visible on your Lock Screen depending on your iPhone settings.

Purchases

Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Medicine Cabinet does not receive or store your payment card information. Apple may provide purchase entitlement information needed to unlock Premium features.

Analytics and Advertising

This website template does not include analytics or advertising. If you later add analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or third-party services, update this policy before release.

Data Sharing

Medicine Cabinet does not sell medication information. Information may be disclosed only when required by law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.

Children

Medicine Cabinet is not intended for children to use without the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Your Choices

You can edit or delete medication information from the app. You can also disable notifications in iPhone Settings. Deleting the app removes locally stored app data from that device, subject to iOS behavior and any backups controlled by you.
